Look at the rich, dark color in this large live edge black walnut slab. It's incredible to see that the sapwood in slab has darkened to nearly the darkness of the heartwood. With a little bit of widening along the sides of the narrow end, by using epoxy, this slab would make an outstanding one-piece dining table top.
This slab has been air drying since February 2021, and if you are aware of how air dried walnut has the richest colors, the colors in this slab when finished will be outstanding. Available for purchase and ready to ship.
