This is slightly voided, elegantly edged, black walnut live edge slab, with nicely distributed unique voids would make a nice epoxy suspension design that uses lesser amount of epoxy. Either strictly clear or lightly tinted clear epoxy, or thin dark bottomed colored epoxy with clear epoxy the bulk of the remaining depth, would be a great design approach for this piece. Rich, dark colored heartwood in this slab.
