This is a very appealing live edge Black Walnut slab. The blotchiness seen in the photos is only areas of frozen water (ice), which has no bearing on the otherwise consistent natural color of walnut once the ice dissipates. This walnut slab has nice rich color, and is one of several hefty slabs in this group of slabs. Ideal for a large console table top, a small dining tabletop, vanity top, etc. Or purchase two slabs from this group to do a two-piece glue-up to yield a wider dining tabletop or island countertop.
